On November 30, 2017, the culmination of nearly 2 years of work concluded with the official opening of the Atlanta Hawks Player Development Facility. The NBA team came to Brookhaven based on its location, access to transportation hubs, and business friendly atmosphere established by the founders of the City in 2012. The Facility, a joint project with Emory University Medical Center Department of Orthopedics, creates a first in the world state of the art training and medical facility in the same building.

Chris and his team worked diligently with the Hawks and Emory to craft a economic incentive package that facilitated and furthered the goals of the City Leadership to bring the Hawks to Brookhaven. Negotiating with the lawyers and representatives for the Hawks, reviewing and revising detailed and complex documents, and successfully arguing in Superior Court for the approval of the project are all part of a day’s work for the Firm.
