The Balch Law Group is proud to announce that its Managing Partner, Chris Balch, has been named as a Local Government Fellow of the International Municipal Lawyers Association. The Fellows program recognizes practitioners with experience, training, and service to local governments around the world. The recognition requires an exhaustive application process which is vetted by other experienced local government practitioners. Once the application is accepted, the prospective member must successfully complete a 2 part examination that tests the intricacies, challenges, and substance of local government law.
Since 1999, IMLA has only recognized 83 local government lawyers in the United States and Canada as Local Government Fellows. Chris is the only lawyer in the State of Georgia to have achieved this distinction.
